Nintendo Now Selling 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro

Nintendo has added the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro to its online store. The accessory will begin shipping this Friday, April 19th and is available for $19.99.

The Circle Pad Pro XL was first shown at TGS 2012 and subsequently released in November in Japan. It follows the original, smaller Circle Pad Pro which fit the original 3DS model and was exclusive to GameStop in the United States.

Lost Planet 3 Delayed

Capcom has delayed Lost Planet 3 to August 27th in North America and August 30th in Europe.

The news puts Lost Planet 3 almost exactly two months past its original date of June 28th, which Capcom announced last month.

Lost Planet 3 follows the story of utility rig pilot Jim Peyton on planet E.D.N. III as he attempts to mine rare Thermal Energy and earn enough money to return home ahead of schedule. Final Fantasy X HD Includes X-2 on PS3 on Disc

The long-awaited HD remake of Final Fantasy X will include a copy of sequel Final Fantasy X-2 on the disc on PlayStation 3. On Vita, the two games will be sold separately.

According to a report from Gematsu (via Eurogamer), the news was confirmed in Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, and Final Fantasy X HD is due in 2013. Both X and X-2 will be bundled with content originally included in the international edition of each game.

Final Fantasy X HD was announced at TGS in 2011 but wasn’t seen for over a year. Recently, footage of HD character models was revealed during Sony’s Vita Heaven event.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Heading West

Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will be released in North America and Europe this autumn.

The game, which was first announced at last year’s TGS, is set to bundle together the original Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories, with trophy support for both.

While we don’t have a firm release date, we do know that the game will be exclusively available on PlayStation 3. Rumours about the game heading to the West have been swirling since the voice actor for Roxas revealed he was back in the recording studio last month.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Gets Demo, Date

Capcom has finally announced a 19th March release date for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (22nd March in Europe).

The game will be available on both platforms as a direct download, and there’ll be a demo on the Nintendo eShop on February 21st if you want to try them out.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is an HD-reskinned and improved version of Monster Hunter Tri, which released for the Wii in 2010. We played around with it at TGS last year and then again just afterwards – we’re impressed, but don’t know whether we can bring ourselves to start this monumentally absorbing game again from scratch.
