Racial Profiling Or Realistic Profiling?

By capblack

Nadra Enzi Racial Profiling Or Realistic Profiling?

“ewest305″ says:

You are a disgrace to your own race. Whites commit more category of crimes than blacks. This does not mean that we should target whites for these crime nor target blacks, middle easterners, etc. for other crimes. In other words, you are basing a small percentage of crime in the United States to justify racial profiling. You are not considering domestic violence, kidnapping, white collar crime, child abuse, etc. You can’t pick and choose which crimes should be racially profiled. You just can’t! Get an education, respect your race and quit being lead to believe racial profiling will make us safe because it wont (sic).

This latest political love note was sent as a reply to my affirmative answer on a Politix poll about racial profiling.

Racial profiling is a phrase sure to set self-righteous progressives off on new lows in criminal coddling disguised as civil rights.

I often wonder if another term, perhaps “realistic profiling”, could be inserted to soothe their savage breasts?

But it wouldn’t, not when dealing with a philosophy that supports street thugs, cop killers, killer ex-cops like Christopher Dorner, and foreign terrorists as morally equivalent to 1960s civil rights marchers.

Racism in law enforcement and homeland security isn’t what I’m promoting and not even debating in this advocacy.

Realism in law enforcement and homeland security, complemented by realism (responsibility) from profiled groups and their popular culture is my goal.

Where are the young Black men and older leaders loudly and proudly distinguishing themselves on air, musically and as activists, from thugs I call chocolate Klansmen and enablers excusing their crimes by blaming conservative White people for it?

Our clothing, songs, videos, and snivel rights spokespersons all proclaim that Black crime is a product of external injustice and thus won’t be denounced by the majority of the community.

I’ve always marveled at this position since it supports every stereotype created about us in the past.

Even Minister Farrakhan, self-proclaimed inheritor to the late Elijah Muhammad’s mantle of America’s top Black Muslim reformer, has sunk to enabling thugs, by calling gangs “street organizations” and judging them the “best generation we’ve (Americans Blacks) ever produced.”

This from someone whose spiritual father said decades ago our larcenous condition proved “the so-called American Negro is totally unfit for self ” and thus required the highly regimented, military-themed rehabilitation he proscribed.

While many American Blacks tilt left on our criminals, law enforcement doesn’t.

Inner cities from coast to coast are subjected to field interviews, check points, probation/parole inspections, and the New York Police Department’s “Stop and Frisk” program based upon rampant gun violence and other serious crime committed by residents.

Is it racism to point out who the majority suspects are in the national Hood’s daily murder rate?

My counter charge is it’s racism not to! Silence when we kill each other makes high profile marches, when a cop or a George Zimmerman does it, illegitimate!

Realistic profiling strips our crime rate of all external blame mechanisms and places scrutiny where it belongs!

All my life, I’ve heard how racist police are. I’ve even met some officers …read more

Christopher Dorner Isn’t Malcolm X 2.0

By capblack

Malcolm X SC Christopher Dorner Isnt Malcolm X 2.0

Like many American Blacks, the late El Hajj Malik Shabazz (here after Malcolm X) made an impression upon me.

It’s through the lens of this impression that I now view the Christopher Dorner case.

Surprisingly to some, Dorner enjoys an active fan base of otherwise opposed progressives and constitutionalists who mutually mistrust police, especially the LAPD.

I could make the obligatory anti-LAPD statement; but suffice it to say, I too find them heavy-handed yet also recognize the hyper-violent opposition they face.

When poor people of all colors run wild in the streets, they prompt creation of municipal armies like this department to combat them.

Critics of his day (and now) accused Malcolm X of being a racist and proponent of violence.

To his credit, he always preached restraint and obeying the law, including using self-defense statutes- a stance, along with his White liberal critique, which endears him to numerous modern conservatives.

His quote “I don’t even call it violence when it’s in self-defense; I call it intelligence” could have been made by current conservative state legislators while drafting “Stand Your Ground” laws.

Unlike Malcolm X, Dorner chose as his first two victims folks not involved in his LAPD grievance. He allegedly gunned down an unarmed woman and man, not quite a Malcolm X move.

The silence from Dorner’s groupies is deafening over this gruesome issue. Condoning private brutality like this to oppose police brutality places them in the same league as Rodney King’s tormentors and the uniformed drug-dealing assassins of the Rampart Division scandal.

Even the police officers he shot (one of whom died) played no role in his termination from the department.

LAPD’s brutality and corruption are used to cloak a private variety as extra-legal retaliation.

Yet another non-Malcolm X stance.

His White liberal supporters must grin and bear it in the face of statements like this from his famous lecture titled “God’s Judgement of White America,” better known as his “The Chickens Come Home To Roost” speech:

The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful than the conservative. The liberal is more hypocritical than the conservative. Both want power, but the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the Negro’s friend and benefactor; and by winning the friendship, allegiance, and support of the Negro, the white liberal is able to use the Negro as a pawn or tool in this political “football game” that is constantly raging between the white liberals and white conservatives.

This December 4, 1963 presentation prompted the late Elijah Muhammad to suspend him from the Nation of Islam for describing the Kennedy assassination “as chickens coming home to roost.”

It also led to his leaving Black separatism for a more inclusive nationalism where he worked with anyone interested in human rights reform.

This included socialists and alarmed the US government to no small end as the heads of Soviet client states welcomed him with open arms overseas.

In the final analysis, Christopher Dorner is not Malcolm X 2.0. His violent response to injustice is at odds with …read more

Christopher Dorner: Racist Time Bomb

By capblack

Christopher Dorner SC Christopher Dorner: Racist Time Bomb

In declaring his one-man war against the LAPD, etc. Christopher Dorner became the tactical equivalent of a Crip or Blood, ironically his opponents (we assume) while a Los Angeles police officer.

His litany of civil rights abuses isn’t license for a chocolate Klansman killing spree, where he terrorizes others for his own benefit!

I wonder if this self-deluded racial “crusader” has given a millisecond thought to how his rampage endangers other Black men.

If LA is as racist as his manifesto purports, his rampage means Black men will now feel even more racist wrath than before.

Our generation was force-fed a steady diet of Marxist garbage under the guise of Black “liberation.”

One consequence of this force-feeding is a seething anger toward American Whites, which the Left won’t readily admit.

I don’t think the 1990s vintage “Black Rage” defense will be trotted out in this case, but you never know!

The liberal paradigm dictates that the conservative White man is the author of our despair. That explains the hero worship Dorner’s rampage is getting from homeboys and hippies from coast-to-coast.

They see him as a “freedom fighter” instead of a super-thug using his police and military training to terrorize others.

I see nothing to applaud here as an American Black man. Advocates as diverse as the civil rights movement and even the Black Muslims under the late Elijah Muhammad agreed that attacking police was wrong.

Black men waging war against law enforcement obviously thrill pork chop revolutionaries like the New Black Panther Party.

For those of us attempting to contribute to society, Dorner’s rampage is a tremendous step backward.

Black liberal police reform activists should ask themselves what the blowback of this case will be.

Police departments may begin scrutinizing Black officers who protest too loudly about injustice. On the street, Dorner’s hero worship may translate into increased wariness toward Black male subjects.

The last thing Black male/police relations in America needed was yet another reason for officers to view us as high security risks.

That usually doesn’t end very well in use-of-force cases.

Christopher Dorner is the racist time bomb sixties radicalism set in the American Black subconsciousness.

Like a real-life character from the 1969 Black nationalist revenge novel “The Spook Who Sat By The Door”, Dorner infiltrated law enforcement and the military with a chip on his shoulder as volatile as plutonium.

Defusing racist time bombs within Black people and Black culture is why I call my dialogue with urban men “Make Peace With America.”

The absence of said peace writes bloody inner-city headlines daily and also scripts crossover carnage like Dorner’s.

Stay tuned.
