Sony May be Teasing the Playstation 4

By Dave Thier, Contributor Sony posted a teaser trailer on its Playstation blog, and it has the Internet talking. It’s not unusual for video game companies to make fantastically dramatic teasers, but there’s something different about this one. There’s the language: “see the future,” the imagery that conjures up nothing more specific than the Playstation brand itself, the fact that we’re in a general atmosphere of constant next-gen rumors and more. Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai strongly suggested that his company would be more than happy to announce its next console after Microsoft had a chance to go first. This doesn’t mean that Sony won’t come out of left field and announce the Playstation 4 in three weeks.
