That’s about 70K more than was expected, so Wall Street consensus on that number was close to the mark. But what will happen in the autumn quarter – the first period in the very long time when Sprint is no longer handing out freebie subscribers to its rivals? During the spring quarter, both Verizon and AT&T posted strong subscriber growth and smartphone sales figures.
