With NFL Super Bowl XLVII just a few days away, Madden NFL 13 has predicted that the Baltimore Ravens will reign triumphant over the San Francisco 49ers and take home the win with a score of 27-24.
This would break the 49ers record of 5-for-5 on Super Bowl wins and end Ray Lewis’ career on a high note. Madden also predicted that Joe Flacco would take home the MVP title with 19 of 27 completed passes for 260 yards as well as two touchdowns.
Going in depth, Madden NFL 13 predicts that the showdown will be competitive throughout and come down to an interception on a pass thrown by Colin Kaepernick in the last drive of the game.
“Baltimore wasn’t about to let the 49ers spoil Ray Lewis’ retirement party though, methodically moving the ball down the field on the back of Ray Rice and capping the drive with a 40-yard field goal from rookie kicker Justin Tucker to push the Ravens ahead 27-24. The 49ers made one last attempt at capturing their sixth Lombardi Trophy, but an Ed Reed interception of a pass from Colin Kaepernick with ten seconds remaining capped the Ravens’ second Super Bowl title in franchise history and proved once more that defense wins championships.”
