The No. 8 seed Pitt Panthers will face the No. 9 Wichita State Shockers in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the West Region.
“When our name popped up, everybody was in shock,” Pitt guard Tray Woodall told The Tribune. “We were in shock that we’re playing the Shockers.”
The winner in this matchup in Salt Lake City on March 21 will face the winner between Gonzaga and Southern in the third round.
