New Details on Three PlayStation 3 RPGs

Today, NIS was kind enough to swing by IGN’s office to show us its upcoming slate of PlayStation 3-exclusive JRPGs set for release both in North America and Europe in 2013. Time and Eternity, The Guided Fate Paradox and Disgaea Dimensions 2 were all shown-off on a debug PS3; one game was already translated, the other two were still in Japanese, and all three will come out at various times throughout the year. So let’s jump in and see what each one was all about.

The game I was most impressed by was the first one I was shown: Time and Eternity. Known as Toki to Towa in Japan, Time and Eternity was developed not by an internal NIS development team, but by ImageEpoch – the studio behind the Luminous Arc and Fate/Extra franchises – and it totes a beautiful art style. All of Time and Eternity’s characters and enemies are hand-drawn, allowing them to pop against the game’s more static and standard 3D environments. The version of the game I saw is already translated into English, though voice acting will be available in both English and Japanese.

Hello, I was looking at kernel log’s and found some parts what was “interesting”

I previously started looking what has been going on in my computer because I had hacker attacks on my machine.

Installed Avira & Little Snitch – softwares

Previously my computer opened few folders what I have not opened my self so some script from internet obviously is installed at some point.

This does not mean “a lot” – mostly security threat of my computer (which does not contain any secret / harmful material at all) but still I keep wondering about few things and decided to post an comment to here to get some debugging help from more experienced people.

RAMAT GAN, Israel–(BUSINESS WIRE)– B Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ Global Market: BCOM)(TASE: BCOM) today reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2012.

Bezeq’s Results: For the fourth quarter of 2012, the Bezeq Group reported revenues of NIS 2.45 billion ($ 656 million) and operating profit of NIS 772 million ($ 207 million). Bezeq’s EBITDA for the fourth quarter totaled NIS 1.1 billion ($ 304 million), representing an EBITDA margin of 46%. Net income for the period attributable to the shareholders of Bezeq totaled NIS 519 million ($ 139 million). Bezeq’s cash flow from operating activities totaled NIS 1 billion ($ 268 million) during the fourth quarter of 2012.

Cash Position: As of December 31, 2012,B Communications’ unconsolidated cash and cash equivalents totaled NIS 694 million ($ 186 million), its unconsolidated total debt was NIS 4.1 billion ($ 1.1 billion) and its net debt was NIS 3.4 billion ($ 901 million).

Introducing Three New PlayStation 3-Exclusive JRPGs

NIS – or Nippon Ichi Software – isn’t a household name. But among the masses of JRPG players in the world, especially in the west, NIS represents one of the most prolific conduits by which Japanese games reach American and European shores. Today, IGN is pleased to reveal that NIS will be bringing three PlayStation 3-exclusive Japanese RPGs to North America and Europe in 2013, and we have complete details on each of those games below.

Let’s start with what is perhaps the biggest of the batch, Disgaea Dimensions 2: A Brighter Darkness. Developed internally at Nippon Ichi Software, Disgaea 2 Dimensions launches in about a month in Japan, and will come out in the west this fall. Dimensions 2 is rumored to be a direct sequel to the PlayStation 2 strategy-RPG Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, and supports a similar graphical flair as found in Disgaea 4.

Samba+NIS

hi guys i have setup samba and NIS on my sol box and it works independently.

now i created another nis account and add it also as a samba user, with this user i can login to my linux client, however in my linux client when i tried to login to my samba server i received a NT STATUS LOGIN FAILURE.

i think this is because my nis account added as samba user does not exist on my NIS local /etc/passwd can anyone give any hints how to fix this i cant find any answers in google that works for me.

Testing NIS slave server

In my Sol-10 i setup NIS server following the oracle doc and setup a Linux as NIS client all went ok.

I added another Sol-10 and configure it as a NIS slave server following the oracle doc again. and added the server on the yp.conf on my NIS client

How do i test if my NIS slave server is working?

I tried shutting down the NIS master server but in NIS client ypwhich still shows the maps on my NIS master.
