I have a 1950s trailer that we bought about a year ago. When we bought it it had metal roofing on the roof that overhangs about 2 or 3 in. on each side. We tried putting the silver trailer roof sealant on. (Twice) went through and caulked the seam between metal roof and trailer roof as well as the gap between trailer and front patio. Also tried the black spray similar to one on tv that they spray on the boat, in spots that didn’t seem to drain as well. However it just eat through it. Trying to avoid tearing the metal roof up if possible and fix as cheap as possible. You can see the water damage inside mostly in the living room and hallway. Along the edge of trailer.
Considering adding more vents to roof and getting some seam tape for the edges and recaulking bolts. Looked into that rubberizeit stuff but was gonna take like 8 bucktts costing like $2200. So looking for any other advice. Thanks
