Back in March, we reported that Minecraft on Xbox 360 would get a retail release. Originally a digital-only title available via XBLA, in May of 2012, the retail iteration was set for release on April 30th.
But Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb — aka Major Nelson — has revealed that the game has been delayed until June 4th. “In order to include the very latest content,” he Tweeted, “the retail version for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has been delayed until June 4 (US)
” Other territories were scheduled to already get it in June; this presumably doesn’t change things for those areas of the world.
