THE FACTS: Tony Parker returned to form for San Antonio after late-season injuries by scoring 18 points with eight assists, and so did Manu Ginobili, whose 18 points off the bench on 3-for-5 shooting on 3-pointers elevated the Spurs past the Los Angeles Lakers for a 91-79 Game 1 victory Sunday in the Western Conference first round at AT&T Center.

THE FACTS: The Memphis Grizzlies may have discovered their new closer. First, point guard Mike Conley delivered a game-tying 3-pointer with 30.7 seconds remaining in Monday night’s game against San Antonio. Then, after a miss by Tony Parker, Conley drove in for the game-winning layup with 0.6 seconds left to give the Grizzlies a 92-90 win at FedExForum. It was the second game-winning shot of his career. Point guard Tony Parker collected a game-high 24 points and seven assists for San Antonio, while Leonard and power forward Tim Duncan each scored 13 points. THE FACTS: Without their three top scorers — Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili — the San Antonio Spurs still recorded a relatively easy road victory, 103-89, over the Chicago Bulls.
