Notebook: Nets 103, Pistons 99

THE FACTS: The Nets’ starters played like they were already in postseason form, leading the Nets to a 103-99 victory over the Pistons at Barclays Center. Brook Lopez scored 20 points and snatched nine rebounds. Gerald Wallace, who led the Nets with 26 minutes played, looked reinvigorated and picked up four steals. The Pistons finished the 2013 season with five players scoring in double figures, led by 23 from Will Bynum. The loss prevented the Pistons from finishing the season on a five-game winning streak.

Joe Johnson had 16 points, Gerald Wallace added 14 and Deron Williams chipped in 12 points and nine assists for the Nets, who bounced back from a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers the previous night. THE FACTS: Deron Williams scored 22 points, Andray Blatche contributed 20 points off the bench and Reggie Evans swept a career-high 23 rebounds as the Brooklyn Nets crushed the Philadelphia 76ers, 109-89, Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Joe Johnson scored 15 points, Brook Lopez had 13 and Gerald Wallace had 11 for the Nets, who improved to 6-1 under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. Brooklyn improved to 20-15 with the victory.

THE FACTS: Joe Johnson’s buzzer-beating jumper lifted the Nets to a 107-105 double overtime victory over the Pistons. Johnson scored 28 points and his floater in the lane sent the game into its second overtime. Gerald Wallace (25 points, 10 rebounds) contributed timely baskets and lived up to his “Crash” nickname. Brandon Knight led the Pistons with 22 points.
