Notebook: Grizzlies 103, Mavericks 97

THE FACTS: Led by reserves Jerryd Bayless, Keyon Dooling and Ed Davis, the Memphis Grizzlies outworked the Dallas Mavericks in the second half and earned a 103-97 victory Monday at the American Airlines Center. The win kept Memphis (55-26) in the hunt for homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs and also snapped a streak of 12 straight winning seasons by Dallas (40-41).

Notebook: Grizzlies 76, Nets 72

THE FACTS: The Nets didn’t get the calls or make the right plays down the stretch, losing a defensive slugfest to the Memphis Grizzlies 76-72 at Barclays Center. The Grizzlies’ interior tandem of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph combined for 30 points and 21 rebounds and all five starters finished in double figures, while Deron Williams (24 points, four assists) was electric at times in defeat. Notebook: Grizzlies 105, Pistons 91

THE FACTS: Mike Conley scored 19 points as the Memphis Grizzlies stretched their winning streak to four games by overpowering the Detroit Pistons 105-91 at The Palace on Tuesday. Zach Randolph had 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Ed Davis added 14 points for Memphis (34-18), which erased an early 11-point deficit. Former Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince was held to four points and three rebounds in his return at The Palace. The Grizzlies shot 56.3 percent from the field and forced 17 turnovers. Jonas Jerebko and Brandon Knight had 13 points apiece for the Pistons (21-34), who had won three of their last four prior to the All-Star break. …read more

Grizzlies deal Gay to Raptors in three-team trade

The Memphis Grizzlies completed a long-rumored roster and salary purge Wednesday by agreeing to trade Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors along with Hamed Haddadi for forward Ed Davis and veteran guard Jose Calderon. The Grizzlies are hoping to flip Calderon to the Detroit Pistons to acquire veteran forward Tayshaun Prince, along with forward Austin Daye and a future second-round pick, but that part of the deal had not been finalized Wednesday evening.
