Breaking Dawn 2 Leads Razzie Noms

The nominations for the Razzie Awards “honoring” the year’s worst movies were announced Tuesday, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 leading the pack with 11 nominations. The winners of the 33rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards will be announced February 23, the day before the Academy Awards.

Here are the nominees:

Worst Picture

  • Battleship
  • The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure
  • That’s My Boy
  • A Thousand Words
  • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II
  • Worst Director

    Oscars Will Spotlight James Bond

    The 85th Academy Awards will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise with a special tribute during the ceremony next month.

    “We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday,” said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. “Starting with Dr. No back in 1962, the 007 movies have become the longest-running motion picture franchise in history and a beloved global phenomenon.”

    The Oscar nominations will be announced next Thursday, January 10, at 5:30 a.m., PT. The winners will be revealed during the ceremony — which of course will air live on ABC — on Sunday, February 24.
