Tim Hardaway Jr. Dunk: Michigan Star’s Father Celebrates Monster Dunk vs. Louisville (VIDEO)

Tim Hardaway Jr. may have been on the wrong end of the final score in the NCAA Tournament final but he was on the right end of what may have been the most impressive play of the game.

With Michigan trailing by four points with less than 10 minutes remaining in the second half, Hardaway Jr. got the ball on the left wing, went around a screen and found a wide open lane to drive through. Before Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell and Gorgui Dieng could step into the lane and defend the basket, the junior guard had already taken flight.

Hardaway Jr. threw down a vicious one-handed dunk that seemed to get the announcers to jump out of their seats and definitely got his father on his feet.

Michigan vs. Syracuse Final Four Preview Capsule: Predict The Winner

These opposites make for an attractive pair in the Final Four.

Earning a trip to Atlanta after confounding No. 3 Marquette and No. 1 Indiana with its 2-3 zone defense in the East Region, Syracuse will now tangle with one of the most dynamic offenses in the nation: The Michigan Wolverines.

With point guard Trey Burke leading a Maize attack that also includes Tim Hardaway Jr., Glen Robinson III and Mitch McGary, Syracuse’s vaunted zone will face arguably its stiffest test yet. In the Elite Eight, No. 3 Florida had no answers for the Wolverines playmakers. Perhaps most worryingly for the Orange, Nik Stauskas was 6-6 from the three-point range. Will the Wolverines bust the zone?
