Tim Hardaway Jr. may have been on the wrong end of the final score in the NCAA Tournament final but he was on the right end of what may have been the most impressive play of the game.
With Michigan trailing by four points with less than 10 minutes remaining in the second half, Hardaway Jr. got the ball on the left wing, went around a screen and found a wide open lane to drive through. Before Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell and Gorgui Dieng could step into the lane and defend the basket, the junior guard had already taken flight.
Hardaway Jr. threw down a vicious one-handed dunk that seemed to get the announcers to jump out of their seats and definitely got his father on his feet.
