Jacobs Receives Contract from Shell in Hong Kong

Expanding Delivery of Oil and Gas Expertise in Asia

PASADENA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYS: JEC) announced today it has been selected by Shell Hong Kong Limited to provide detailed design for its Transformer Oil Project located at its Tsing Yi installation in Hong Kong.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the work is being performed from Jacobs’ China operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing detailed design engineering services for modifications to Shell’s existing terminal facility to enable the processing of transformer oil. Shell’s 47-acre Tsing Yi installation supplies Hong Kong and Macau with a wide range of oil, gas and chemical products.

Jacobs Selected for Santos Engineering Panel in Australia

PASADENA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYS: JEC) announced today that it has been selected by Santos, one of Australia‘s largest domestic gas producers, to be a member of its panel of contractors for services to its Eastern Australia Business Unit (EABU).

Officials did not disclose the value or duration of the contract, but noted that the services are being provided from Jacobs’ Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane offices.

As a member of the panel, Jacobs is providing engineering, design and project management services to Santos for a range of brownfield, environmental and water, flow-line and greenfield projects (excluding major strategic projects) for its oil and gas assets throughout the central and east coast regions of Australia.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Tom Quinn stated, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our long term relationship with Santos, and to draw on our global upstream experience to deliver high value as a member of this panel.”

PASADENA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYS: JEC) announced today that it has been selected by the Shell Company of Australia Ltd. for its Clyde Terminal Conversion Project in Sydney, Australia.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the work is being performed from Jacobs’ Australian operations in Melbourne and Sydney.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is initially providing a Basic Design and Engineering Package (BDEP) to convert the Clyde Refinery and associated satellite Gore Bay Terminal into a competitive product import terminal. Subject to subsequent approval, Jacobs is also expected to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCm) services in the delivery phase of the project.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Tom Quinn stated, “We are delighted to bring our local and global terminal experience to this critical project. This contract continues our relationship with Shell in Australia, where we have successfully implemented clean fuels upgrades at Shell’s Geelong and Clyde refineries.”

The Clyde Terminal Conversion Project involves extensive upgrades, refurbishment and re-use of the existing crude and product tankage that supplies truck loading and pipeline operations helping to service Sydney airport and Shell’s distribution of fuels into the New South Wales market from Parramatta Terminal.
