How Anthony Weiner Became Carlos Danger

How Anthony Weiner Became Carlos Danger

OK, Anthony. If you're going to get back in the game, you need an alias. And not just any alias. You see, a man livin' on the edge needs a name on the edge. A sunglasses-and-'stache, panty-droppin', blast-some-AC/DC-and-fuck-me-on-the-deck-of-the-speedboat kind of name. This is not your Joe Schmo-level sexting here. This is some James Bond, John McClane, Jack Reacher-level shit. So strap in, and get ready for take-off. It's go-time.

Jack Reacher Review

By Alicia Malone

The first 10 or so minutes of Jack Reacher are unbelievably tense. With no dialogue and little music, we see an expert sniper setting up in a parking garage in downtown Pittsburgh, before calmly picking off five random people. In light of recent news events, it’s hard not to jump at each gunshot, feel sorrow for every innocent victim, and want to know why the gunman did it after he is captured by police. But then, the dialogue begins, and Jack Reacher falls into a giant chasm of clichés.

After the gunman requests to see a man named Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise), the aforementioned drifter arrives, determined to see justice served. Beautiful lawyer Helen (Rosamund Pike) asks Reacher to help her with the case, much to the annoyance of Sergeant Emerson (David Oyelowo) and Helen’s father, the D.A. (Richard Jenkins) who doesn’t trust a man without any credit cards, driver’s license or home address.

Mad Max 4: That's a Wrap

After an arduous path before cameras, Mad Max 4: Fury Road has finished filming.

Principal photography on the six-month shoot has now been completed, according to IF.com.au. The George Miller-directed sequel, almost a quarter of a century in development, was shot on location in the Namibian desert and Cape Town Film Studios in South Africa.

Tom Hardy stars as the title character, replacing Mel Gibson in the role. Oscar winner Charlize Theron plays the film’s villain, Imperator Furiosa.

Here’s Hardy at this week’s premiere of Jack Reacher, where he talks about Mad Max 4 and says he’d love to do Top Gun 2 with Tom Cruise:
