Comic-Con: Harrison Ford Shows Off Ender's Game

Along with Divergent, Summit also gave fans a sneak peek at Ender’s Game, the sci-fi military feature based on the classic 1985 novel by Orson Scott Card.

Naturally, the big draw of this panel was the return of the big man himself Harrison Ford, who plays Colonel Hyrum Graff in the film. But also in attendance were co-stars Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin, as well as producer Bob Orci and director Gavin Hood.

James Horner to Score Ender's Game

Oscar winner James Horner — who composed the scores for Avatar, Aliens, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock — is returning to sci-fi with Ender’s Game.

Horner — whose credits also include Titanic, The Amazing Spider-Man, Braveheart, Commando, and Willow — has signed on to score the Gavin Hood-directed movie, according to Film Music Reporter.

First Look at Ender’s Game Movie

Check out the first official still of Harrison Ford in the long-awaited adaptation of the acclaimed sci-fi novel Ender’s Game. Ford co-stars as Colonel Graff, the mentor of title character Ender (Hugo’s Asa Butterfield) at Battle School.
“The relationship between and Asa was very close,” director Gavin Hood told Entertainment Weekly, “but he didn’t overly befriend him off the set. He helped Asa by allowing that slight sense of intimidation to be there.”
