If the internet is to be believed, the Galactic Empire is using Kickstarter to crowd-fund the construction of a new Death Star. Now, in a show of heroism and force, the Rebel Alliance has struck back with a Kickstarter of its own, seeking to raise funds to build a squadron of X-Wing Fighters.
This of course comes after the White House declined to fund work on a new Death Star, which didn’t win Washington any friends among the Empire.
