Floyd Mayweather Hits Primetime With CBS Special

Floyd Mayweather is used to starring late in the evening on fight night. He became the highest-paid athlete in the world by becoming a pay-per-view phenomenon, while racking up 43 victories without a defeat. His nine PPV events generated 9.6 million buys and $543 million in television revenue, according to HBO. Mayweather has been part of the four biggest non-heavyweight PPV events in boxing history.

Showtime Kicks Off Floyd Mayweather Month With '30 Days In May'

Floyd Mayweather signed an agreement in February with Showtime Networks that has the potential to be the richest individual athlete deal in the history of sports. We get our first taste tonight of how Showtime plans to use Mayweather in its programming. The premium cable network will air a one-hour documentary film, 30 Days In May, about Mayweather’s 2012 stint in prison after a plea bargain over domestic violence and harassment charges.
