GLEN ALLEN, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Dynex Capital, Inc. (NYS: DX) (the “Company”) announced today that it has priced a public offering of two million shares of an original issuance of its 7.625% Series B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, liquidation preference $25.00 per share, for gross proceeds of $50 million. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 300,000 shares of the Series B Preferred Stock to cover any overallotments. The offering is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close on or about April 19, 2013. The Company intends to apply to list the Series B Preferred Stock on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to acquire additional investments, consistent with its investment strategy, and for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, repayment of maturing obligations, capital expenditures and working capital.

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Colony Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYS: CLNY) today announced the pricing of its public offering of $175,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its 5.00% Convertible Senior Notes due 2023 (the “Notes”) for total gross proceeds of $175 million. The Company has granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $25,000,000 aggregate principal amount of the Notes to cover over-allotments, if any. The Notes will bear interest at a rate equal to 5.00% per year, payable semiannually in arrears on April 15 and October 15 of each year, beginning on October 15, 2013. The conversion rate will initially equal 42.3819 shares of common stock per $1,000 principal amount of Notes, which is equivalent to a conversion price of approximately $23.60 per share of common stock, representing a 10% conversion premium based on the closing price of the Company’s common stock of $21.45 per share on April 4, 2013. The initial conversion rate is subject to adjustment upon the occurrence of certain events, but will not be adjusted for any accrued and unpaid interest. The Notes will mature on April 15, 2023. (NYS: ACC) , the largest owner, manager and developer of high-quality student housing properties in the U.S., today announced that its operating partnership, American Campus Communities Operating Partnership LP, priced a $400 million offering of senior unsecured notes under its existing shelf registration. DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Holly Energy Partners, L.P. (NYS: HEP) announced today the pricing of the public offering of 1,875,000 common units representing limited partner interests to be issued and sold by us, and 1,875,000 common units to be sold by HollyFrontier Corporation (NYS: HFC) and certain of its affiliates as selling unitholders. The common units were priced at $40.80 per common unit.
