Kate Walsh Returning To ‘Grey’s Anatomy’?

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Private Practice” may have ended, but Shonda Rhimes still has plans for Kate Walsh in the world of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

“I would love to see Addison back at Seattle Grace at some point for a visit,” Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve said a million times that before the show ends its run, Addison has got to put on her shoes and scrub cap and come scrub in at the hospital. That’s a given for me.”

Rhimes would also like to bring back Caterina Scorsone, who co-starred on “Private Practice,” in the role of Ameila Shepherd.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Catherine Avery Swoops In At The Last Minute To Save Seattle Grace (VIDEO)

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Before taking a short hiatus, “Grey’s Anatomy” wrapped up the hospital bankruptcy situation quite nicely. The plane crash five (Arizona, Callie, Cristina, Derek and Meredith) were looking for an investor to partner in their bed to buy the hospital. In an unexpected last-minute save, it was Jackson’s mother, Catherine, and The Harper-Avery Foundation that saved the day.

She’d come to Seattle to try and encourage Jackson to move to Boston and take a more active role in the foundation. With the crisis at Seattle Grace, she found a way to allow him to stay and still have him more involved.

“It is my pleasure that the Harper-Avery foundation would like very much to take you up on that offer,” she told Cristina. The foundation became the majority shareholder, and in doing so demanded one seat on the board. A seat Catherine would fill with Jackson.

Grey's Anatomy Rundown, "The Face of Change"

By Becky Kirsch

It’s pretty boy vs. bad boy on Grey’s Anatomy this week when Jackson and Alex are both chosen as candidates for Brand Ambassador as part of the new Seattle Grace initiatives. So what does that mean exactly? Basically, one of their faces will end up on posters all over the hospital. At first Alex isn’t so interested in being followed by a photographer all day long, but once Jackson is in the mix, it turns into full-on competition – complete with coaches in each corner.

A poster boy isn’t the only change that’s on the way for the hospital, and Callie is determined to fight back the best she can, especially when she and Webber visit another hospital and get a glimpse into their bleak futures. There’s also a healthy dose of romance this week, as Stephanie and Jackson’s relationship heats up and April finally finds a new guy. Let’s break down all the happenings when you

  • Alex gets to narrate this week’s episode, which largely focuses on him, both personally and professionally. At home, his house has turned into something of a sex den (sorry, I really don’t know any other way to put it). Jackson and Stephanie, who don’t even live there, are using his couch for makeout sessions, and Cristina and Owen aren’t exactly discreet about their own sounds of passion. So how does Alex retaliate? He and Jo make animal sounds as loud as they possibly can. It would be completely weird if these two didn’t have so much chemistry.
  • Speaking of their chemistry, pretty much everyone at the hospital is placing bets on when Alex and Jo will finally hookup – or they believe that they’re already sleeping together. Though the two try to act like they’re platonic BFFs, it’s clear that Alex has a moment of clarity over powdered donuts at the end of the episode. Whether or not her (literal) sugar lips had anything to do with it, it is on.
  • While Alex and Jo are playing “will they or won’t they?,” April is trying to realize her dream of having a normal courtship, complete with actual dates. She finds it with a cute new paramedic, with whom she’s been having awkward “dates” in the front seat of the ambulance. Their romance becomes full-fledged after she joins him for a ride-along and helps save the life of a young man (against hospital protocol). The bonding moment leads to a kiss – which is perfectly timed with Jackson’s exit from the hospital with Stephanie.
  • So back to that ride-along: In a classic Grey’s Anatomy caper, all of the main doctors and interns band together to secretly operate on a patient despite the fact that the trauma unit is closed. Derek, who usually doesn’t stand for this kind of stuff, even gets involved to try to divert Cahill’s attention away from the sitatuation at hand. Of course they save the guy’s life, but not before Cahill finds out and gives them a slap on the wrist. As …read more
