Bulls' Hamilton suspended for actions vs. Raptors

Chicago Bulls guard Richard Hamilton has been suspended one game without pay for throwing an elbow and making contact with the face of Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

THE FACTS: Marco Belinelli hit a go-ahead fadeaway jumper with three seconds remaining in overtime, as the Chicago Bulls escaped the TD Garden with a hard fought 100-99 victory over the Boston Celtics. Richard Hamilton had a team-high 20 points for the visitors, who led by as many as 10, but had to battle back from a late deficit in regulation and overtime to overcome a season-high 30 points from Rajon Rondo. It was the third straight win overall for the Bulls, while the Celtics dropped the final two games over their five-game homestand.
