Illumination is now developing a brand new adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, with Peter Candeland directing.
According to Variety, Universal Pictures will handle worldwide distribution, and Illumination Entertainment CEO Chris Meledandri will produce the film, marking his third Seuss movie after 2012’s The Lorax.
Unlike the live-action version of Grinch starring Jim Carrey, this latest take will stay much more faithful to the original book.
