Former NBA star, Yao Ming, was honored by the Asia Society Southern California with its “Visionary of the Year” award at the organization’s annual gala, held Tuesday at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. As part of the honor, luxury watch brand, Girard-Perregaux, presented the seven-foot, six-inch basketball player with a watch celebrating his achievements on and off the court: the “Yao Ming” Chrono Hawk timepiece. …read more
