Hi everyone, I am wiring a 3-way switch and a 3-way dimmer switch, and when I flip the switch there is a delay in the lights turning on. I thought it might be the bulbs so I put cfls, and then even tried incandescent, delay is still there. Eventually the lights will all be dimmable LEDS.
The switch I installed is a Lutron dimmer switch, the other is a regular 3-way switch. Both switches work but there is a delay when the lights turn on, I think a half a second which is noticeable.
Overview of circuit, 15amp which I brought up from the basement into a junction box (14/2). I am going to be using this circuit to power the lights for the hallway, and 2 bedrooms. The lights will all be LED (10 @10watts) and there will be 2 fans (@ 325watts).
