California Chihuahua Rescue: Authorities Seize 36 Chihuahuas At Two Homes

WATSONVILLE, Calif. — California officials are searching for new homes for three dozen Chihuahuas that were seized from two residences.

Officials with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter say they removed 11 Chihuahuas, including six puppies, at a Watsonville apartment on Monday. Then they found 25 more, including 10 puppies, at a relative’s house in the same town.
