Gaikai has registered several domains connected to the name PlayStation Cloud. According to Whois data, Gaikai now owns playstation-cloud.com, playstation-cloud.org and ps-cloud.net, all of which were registered by Gaikai on February 15th.
The websites seem to legitimize rumors that emerged yesterday which suggested that “Sony has been investing heavily to prepare Gaikai’s technology to enhance its new console.” Speculation about Sony’s cloud plans have been swirling since the company acquired Gaikai last year.
