Disney Picks Up Depp’s Don Quixote Remake

Disney has just closed a deal on an untitled pitch for what is described as a modern retelling of Don Quixote. Johnny Depp is attached to produce the film along with Christi Dembrowski.
Steve Pink and Jeff Morris wrote the screenplay for the film. Before this latest pick-up, Depp was at one time set to star in Terry Gilliam‘s own Don Quixote project (as documented in the film Lost in La Mancha).
