Don't think about replying to or communicating with Chicago... they won't. We just need to listen to their music, enjoy it, buy their albums and do as they ask. Well, for me, I've done the first 3 things only because I appreciate their talent and music... and have since I was a little kid. I've aspired to them. I play my trombone as well now or better than my hero in Chicago. But, I certainly don't like all that I see and know of them today as being only "commercial" and having the sense that I'm another dollar in their pocket. I'd like to see humility and openness as did Maynard Ferguson in his personal touch to high schools and involvement in people and community. Is this too much to ask, Chicago, the band?
