The ’30 Rock’ Series Finale Made Jon Hamm Cry

By The Huffington Post News Editors

Jon Hamm has a confession: He cried while watching the “30 Rock” series finale.

In an interview with Vulture, Hamm spoke about the upcoming end to “Mad Men” — Season 7 could be the last — and how the “30 Rock” series finale affected him after appearing in multiple episodes as a love interest for “30 Rock” creator Tina Fey‘s character Liz Lemon.

“I was talking a lot with Jack McBrayer, Tina [Fey], Robert Carlock, people on ’30 Rock,’ and they were like blind-sided and devastated by how emotional they all were at the end,” Hamm said. “I have a special relationship with that show, so I watched the finale and even I was, like, crying.”

According to The Weather Channel, snow has only fallen at midnight on New Years Eve in New York City seven times throughout recorded history. One of those years was New Years Eve of 1967, when “moderate snow was reported with 2 to 3 inches of snow on the ground.”

James Wolk is bringing another handsome face to the world of “Mad Men.” The star of the short-lived, yet critically-acclaimed, TV show “Lone Star” appeared in the “Mad Men” Season 6 premiere as Bob Benson, the new, overzealous accounts guy “in the outfield” at Sterling Draper Cooper Pryce, who got Don coffee and then got his behind handed to him, courtesy of Ken Cosgrove (Aaron Staton).

Since Wolk’s “Lone Star” was canceled, the actor has gone on to appear in many popular TV shows. On “Happy Endings,” he played Grant, a love interest for Adam Pally‘s character Max. Wolk also appeared in multiple episodes of “Shameless” and co-starred opposite Sigourney Weaver in USA‘s miniseries “Political Animals” as Douglas Hammond, the son of Weaver’s character, Elaine Barrish.
